Happy Friday everyone! This past week has been pretty busy for Acem Gaming. I've released a bunch of new tutorials, released a test game to my website, and played some Clash Royale.
Last week we finished up the C# tutorials over the pillars of object oriented programming. Hopefully you better understand the goals of object oriented programming and a few techniques of achieving them. We also added a few more Physics tutorials, and finally moved into an real world example of how to use Physics in Unity. We also talked about clamping values and how you can clamp values in Unity to have more control over some variables.

This week I will be releasing one more physics tutorial on rotational physics movement, C# tutorials on properties and the static keyword, and a few other tutorials that I have in store. I would also like to finish up the Unity Beginner series that I had started. I know which tutorials I need to do for that one, I just need to make them. We're finally getting back to where the original C# series left off so there will be new topics coming up in the next few weeks. It was a pain remaking all of them, but I wanted to have tutorials that were text based on my website along with the video. Hopefully that helps you guys out a little more. I also plan on following a schedule of videos released Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 2x Saturday. That way I can work on my current games along with releasing tutorials.
Acem Gaming Game Development News
You may have seen already that I released a demo game to my Game Demos section of my website. That demo was basically just a test of WebGL on my website since they have updated it since last time I used it. In the next week I will be updating the game so that it is more playable/interesting. This actually wasn't the same game that I talked about in the last post, but I wanted something to test in preparation. I will be uploading the other game and updating the game I released as I work on them more. When I release a better version, I will probably release a short video on it.

Acem Gameplay News
I've continued playing and releasing a few Clash Royale videos this week on my Acem Gameplay channel. Clan Battles just came out today, and it is awesome! I've released a few videos to my Acem Gaming channel just so you guys get a peek at the awesomeness of Clan Battles. I'll continue to release Clash Royale videos on my Acem Gameplay channel, but they might not regularly come out. I don't get a lot of traffic from that channel so I'm probably not going to spend too much effort on it.

The past week in Unity has been pretty light. TextMesh Pro joined Unity, and is a really cool replacement for the Text Mesh and UI Text components. It adds several features to your text to make it look wicked and professional. It's free on the asset store so I highly recommend checking it out. I think it will be officially integrated into Unity with Unity 2017, so get a sneak peak on the asset store. For a limited time, you can also get a plethora of awesome tools with Unity Plus via the Accelerator pack. The accelerator pack is a $190 value with a Unity Plus subscription is $35/month. I highly recommend checking it out, but some neat features are: Playmaker, a visual code creation tool, Amplify Shader Editor, a visual shader editor, and Ultimate FPS, an easy to use FPS creation tool.

That's all I have for this week. I hope that you have a fantastic week, and I look forward to releasing more videos!
