Video Game News
Fallout shelter was released for Android users August 13th, 2015 (This past week). I'm super excited to download, and start playing it. I've seen a few reports of people losing their save data, but hopefully Bethesda can resolve it soon. Feel free to read the article below, or simply download the game!
Nothing new to report.
Not a whole lot to report this week. I'll be pretty busy with school starting, so the tutorials might slow down from the normal schedule. I'll try to hit the 10 video mark for all series, and then slow down the release schedule a little bit. Also, if you'd like to keep up with my video game development, follow Acem Gaming on Twitter at https://twitter.com/AcemGaming .Other than that, thank you for reading this blog post, I hope you have a wonderful week! :]
Missed a weekly update due to being in Florida. Glad to be back in the game though!
Changed the theme since the last update. Hope you like it. If you don't, or have any suggestions of how to make it better, please let me know! Otherwise I'm just going to keep updating existing pages.
Game Demo Updates
Nothing to add here. Haven't had time to update Target Master or release the new game. Currently looking at WebGL instead of the Web Player since Chrome no longer supports the plugin for it.
Video Game News
Hearthstone expansion: The Grand Tournament scheduled for this August! This release probably excited me most in the video game world right now. I've been playing Hearthstone for the past few months, and am excited to see new cards come to the game. Oh, and just a cool awesome amazing fact: Hearthstone was made using Unity! EPIC!
Unity Master Classes: Unity has been around for awhile and growing. People are starting to get good at using it; Like really really good. Unity is organizing what they call master classes to help those who already have a ton of Unity knowledge get even better! Follow the link below to take a survey on which areas you would like to see in a Master Class.
Unity Best Practices for Moving existing Engines into Unity: More and more developers are starting to move into Unity from other game engines. In this post you will find a report outlining all of the best practices for moving into Unity. There are some really good ones in there, that I think you will find benefit in if you are moving into Unity from another game engine.
That's all I have this week for this weekly update. I hope you have been enjoying your week, thank you for taking time to read this post!

Video Game News
Satoru Iwata passed away this past week. He was the President of Nintendo, and had an awesome history. I recommend going through his history, and learning more about him. He had an incredible life, and will truly be missed.
I watched a video recently of Deus Ex's Creators going back and playing their game from 15 years ago. It was awesome to hear them talk about their game while playing it. I highly recommend watching the video.
Unity recently released a blog post about the Asset Store. I wanted to mention to check it out, and see what cool things developers have uploaded there. There is tons of both free and paid assets that you can find. These assets will help you get your game to production faster, and give you some ideas of your own.
That's all I have for this week. I hope you have had a wonderful week, and I look forward to bringing you more content! :D
This past week has been a lot of updating the website, and working on the framework for my new tutorial system. There is a lot in the works, so get ready for a boat load of content in the near future! Also some updates for Target Master to fix many of the bugs in it, as well as a lot of redesign work on the camera system. I'm also working on getting the framework for another game set up which should see a demo release in the next few weeks.
In the news, I saw that there is a possible Superman game in the works. In the article, the author talks about the possibility of it being worked on Rocksteady Studios, the same game that worked on the Batman Arkham series. I'd love to see another game from Rocksteady Studios. They've done a great job with the series, and I think they could make the gameplay for a Superman game quite fun.
Check out the full article below. Comment on this post whether you think the rumors are true, and if you'd like to see a new Superman game.
Hope you are enjoying your week. If you have any suggestions/comments for the site, feel free to fill out the survey on the home page. I love the feedback that I have been getting, and have been able to make some new improvements on the site with it.
Decided this past weekend to re-ignite Acem Gaming. Stuff that I am working on is a complete overhaul to the website, new game design tutorials, new games to display, and a LinkedIn company page.
New layout. Check out the new tutorial section which includes a readable tutorial in addition to the video. I figured that some tutorials might be easier to follow if you have step by step instructions alongside the video. There will also be a plethora of code once I start getting into more technical topics.
I will be restarting the beginner game development series and adding new technical Unity tutorials. The old tutorials will remain on my channel, but will be listed as Legacy tutorials.
Game Releases & Updates:
I have a few games that are close to release for Android which I will also be doing work to port to the web player. Stay tuned for more news regarding them as they approach release. I also have misplaced my Capsule Warriors project, and may be pulling it down from the site. Maybe not though since it is the first game I have ever created and released. We'll see.
Thanks for visiting the site, and supporting Acem Gaming! I look look forward to bringing you new exciting content in the future!
Check out the new Screenshots section of the website at the top navigation bar! Hope you enjo
